The movement is a non-profit initiative of The Monday Campaigns and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. They have a great website with lots of resources to help you go meat-free at least one day per week.
P.S. Meatless Mondays are not just a silly club for PETA members and tree huggers. The involvement of one of the best Public Health programs in the world emphasizes this; going meat-free for at least one day per week is a change that can seriously benefit your health and the health of our environment.
You can visit the MeatlessMonday.com website, pledge to go meatless every Monday and sign up to receive some great veg recipes once a week.
